ARA have been working hard for years now to 'bring boating back to Evesham'
Dragon Pedalos & Boats, boards, katakanus for hire as well as paddleboard lessons
and BOAT TRIPS too
Evesham is the perfect place to come and get on the river

HIRE Details & Prices Evesham
we keep it simple and affordable
£5 per person for 20 minutes
Dragon Pedalo = £5 per person for 20 mins
min 2 people, 1 must be over 18 years old / parent or guardian.
Dragon Pedalos have 4 seats, and can usually accommodate a 5th child in the middle too.
Avon River Activities reserve the right to refuse or allow the hire of any boat, at their absolute discretion.
All young people under the age of 16 must wear a lifejacket / buoyancy aid which are supplied free of charge.
Lifejackets and buoyancy aids are available to anyone who would like to use them.
Mega SUP (stable) = £5 per person for 20 mins
min charge 2 people, (can be paddled on your own, or up to 3 people) 1 must be over 18 years old
Katakanu (stable double canoe) = £5 per person for 20 mins
min 2 people, 4 adults (up to 6 if some are children) 1 must be over 18 years old / parent or guardian
longer hires are available on a katakanu - take it on a trip - ask for details
Sit on Top Kayaks (singles and doubles) = £5 per person for 20 mins
1 must be over 18 years old / parent or guardian
longer hires are available on sit on tops - ask for details
Canoe - new silverbirch 16's = £5 per person for 20 mins
min charge is for 2 people, 1 must be over 18 years old / parent or guardian
Canoes can only be hired by people that have paddled canoes before
longer hires are available on canoes - take it on a trip - ask for details

Every week we post the days we will be operating on our facebook page
As a genuine community partnership venture, we coordinate the towns events, like the rowing regatta, river festival and the fishing festivals. This will effect the open hours.
If it is rain or flood, we will not be operating. so open times will vary.

Evesham Trip Boat
Avon Navigation Trust own and operate the river trip boat 'Corsair' along aside our operations in Evesham. We work with, and volunteer for, the Avon Navigation Trust, helping run their charity fund raising trip boat.

No need to book, just check the 'Avon River Activities Evesham' facebook page if the weather is bad or the river in flood, then just turn up to the boat area in Evesham Abbey Park for the 1pm or the 3pm trip.
The boat trips operate on a 'first come first served' basis. Tickets are on sale on the day - from 12 noon. you can buy tickets from Neptune, on the day, from 12, for the 1pm trip or the 3pm trip. it is not possible to book in advance.
100% of the income from these trips goes straight to the Rivers own Navigation Charity - ANT. These are run by volunteers

Project Neptune - Mobile Paddleboard Centre
Project Neptune - Mobile Centre
and base for Youth Volunteering
Working with the Avon Navigation Trust, ARA help operate the 50' wide beam barge Neptune as a mobile activity centre and home to the pioneering ANT youth volunteering programme - ANT Squad.
On board is a full on activity centre facilities, with changing room, shower, toilet, kitchen and a classroom. As well as coordinating the ANT SQUAD youth volunteering programme, ARA provide paddleboarding and activities at the river festivals using Neptune and she also works well as support boat for other activities in Evesham and along the river..... AWESOME !! Neptune is also a vital part of the Evesham Lock House project and 'bringing boating back to Evesham'.
